Works to Luton
The owners were refurbishing the building and wanted to upgrade the
lift to suit. The building is a privately owned office block in Luton
town centre.
he existing lift was dated and unreliable, we installed new
control equipment, door operator and re-wired it to enable the lift
meet the standards of the DDA.
e also refurbished the lift car interior with a mixture of
stainless steel, laminate wall coverings, mirrors and handrails. We
also installed a new ceiling complete with upgraded lighting and car
push station with digital position indicators.
e also replaced all the landing push stations for DDA compliant
type and re-sprayed all the hand painted doors in a grey-white RAL
finish.
he lift was handed over to the client on time just before the
Christmas break and has had a trouble free service since. JDR Lift
Services now maintain the lift for the client on an annual maintenance
agreement.
